The Dawson Catchment Coordinating Association (DCCA) was formed in 1998 in response to the broad community, industry and government involvement in Integrated Catchment Management.
The DCCA is a community based organisation having links to government, industry and other NRM groups.
The DCCA plays a mojor role in facilitating community, industry and government partnerships, prioritising issues and promoting and implementing the adoption of catchment management strategies.

The catchment area is divided into three zones:
Upper Dawson: including Wandoan, Taroom and Injune districts,
Lower Dawson: including Theodore, Moura, Baralaba, Duaringa and Banana districts,
Don/Callide: including Biloela, Thangool, Jambin, Dululu, Wowan and Mount Morgan districts. |
